This is the wallpaper that started it all.
I got my hands on the MP Megatron & Optimus Prime and one day decided to put my photoshop skills to work. This image is the result.
I like adding dramatic shadows when I took the photo, then lighting up the eyes and figuring out where the reflection would land to give it a more real-world feel whilst carrying that original Transformers cartoon look.
Once I finished it, I really wanted to share it around, then I was motivated to start the TransformersCharacters.net website and keep sharing these wallpapers.
Being a Transformers fan, graphic artist and web designer I then installed WordPress and built my site. I used this image as one of the main images in the template (as I do on the homepage of Bots vs Cons at the time of launch in 2019).
Not to mention that Megatron and Optimus are some of the most popular and most powerful Transformers ever!
This one will always be a favorite of mine and it’s the first and one of the best. The reward of sitting back and seeing your imagination come to life in an image cannot be beaten, especially the first time.
