Have you ever heard of Dr Smoov?
He has some incredibly funny parodies of Transformers Generation One that many, strictly adult, fans would enjoy.
What they’ve basically done is re-edited old clips from the Transformers G1 cartoon and re-dubbed them with some excellent impressions and adding a sense of absurdity and comedy to the clips.
If you loved the original Transformers cartoon and have a bit of a wild sense of humor (and can take some explicit language) then you’ll love these clips!

The Rude Awakening of Optimus Prime
Remember when Optimus Prime was revived at the end of Season 3 to once again lead the Autobots?
Wasn’t it a little strange that he seemed to know everyone and everything that happened since his death?
Well, in this clip the Dr Smoov gang show us how it would really go down, since Optimus would have no idea how much the world had changed the events of the Transformers Animated movie.
You’ll get a laugh out of this!
SOS Wheeljack
Imagine how powerful the Dinobots would have been had they been built with full intelligence…
Well, the idea of Wheeljack giving the Dinobots ‘Simple Brains is explored in this parody and Optimus is not too impressed.

Shockwave’s Burden
In the comics, Shockwave was a badass mofo who often gave Megatron a run for his money as leader of the Decepticons.
In the cartoon he was like that unpopular kid at school who wasn’t invited to all of the parties.
At least you’ll get that impression from this video as they poke fun at the character of Shockwave and his shortcomings – including all of the Decepticons just leaving him behind to go out and have fun on Earth.

Heavy Metal Fight
This video takes the episode ‘Heavy Metal War’ and show us how crazy it is that no one picked up on Megatron’s cheating.
Chip acts as a voice of reason in this clip, often being shunned for his opinion and logic. It’s an absolute classic and shows a more arrogant side of Optimus Prime!
Autobot Alert
This is one of my personal favorites, and does another job of totally destroying the dignity of a character in the original series in a humorous way – this time it’s the Autobot Red Alert.
It also expands into other storyline showing how crazy it was that some Autobots worked with Decepticons in the original series and shows Optimus’ disappointment in his team.
This is the last video built on the same formula as above and it’s pretty darn funny!
Soundwave Superior
A little different the others above, ‘Soundwave Superior’ is a video which kind of just follows Soundwave’s thoughts ont he many characters in the series – declaring ‘superior’ or ‘inferior’.

That’s all of the Dr Smoov parodies made int he old re-edit fashion. There is also NG SMoov that focus more on 3D animated shosrts using the same voice talents.
There have been some Dr Smoov tributes out there also but they just aren’t quite as consistently funny as the videos above, but many still worth a watch.
