This Transformers wallpaper features Hot Rod, the Autobot who would become the Autobot Leader Rodimus Prime!

It seems that despite the death of the most famous face of the Transformers, Optimus Prime, Hot Rod really shot to popularity after the release of the original Transformers the Movie in 1986.

The figures released of him over the years and have been up and down in quality. But one I always loved was the Henkei Hot Rod I got my hands on many years ago.

The style, shape and overall paint make this figure look absolutely wicked, and it’s always been a bit fo fan favorite for Hot Rod fans.

So when I asked the fans of Instagram on this post a few people responded with Henkei Hot Rod, so I knew I had to get onto it!

So I took some shots, added a bit of a transformation and some detail to the robot form and came up with this wallpaper. Which I think has a striking visual style to it.

So here it is, ‘Hot Rod, Transform’!
